MEET YOUR HOSTS
Our story...
Deloraine Homestead was built in 1999 for Max and Peta Godenzi, along with their three sons.
The house was very deliberately designed with a Victorian Homestead feel, with all of the
interior being carefully selected to uphold the Victorian design values, by Peta.
Sadly in 2006 Max passed away and Peta needed to find a way to create some income. With the
boys having left home to follow their own paths, Peta had plenty of room to welcome guests to
come and share the Homestead with her for short and long stays.
Over the years important celebrations were held on the property, including Peta and Max’s
second son Blair, and his now wife, Anna’s wedding in 2010. On January the 10th 2020, Peta
and Max’s youngest son Matthew, married his now wife Courtney. This inspired Matt and
Courtney to continue to offer the property as accommodation, as well as extending the
possibilities to outdoor events, looking out across the stunning Upper Yarra Valley.
