Matt and Monica live on the property with their children: Matt is the winemaker and manages the vineyard and makes the wine, while Monica manages the venue and functions – Bulong truly is a family affair. You’ll get to meet and work closely with them, in the planning and lead up to your wedding, and on the day itself. Because an event as special as your wedding needs seamless continuity, and they will ensure you have the best celebration, just the way you dreamed it. If you’re after a smaller wedding in a stunning location where you can have your ceremony, photos and reception all in the one place, with onsite experts who are flexible and there to help every aspect of your day run smoothly, then Bulong Estate in the Upper Yarra Valley is the place for you. Your wedding is all about you, about honouring where you both come from and celebrating your unique union – and at Bulong Estate we are here to help you realise your dream. Our job is to take the stress out of your wedding day, so you can focus on soaking it all in and having a totally brilliant day. You are very welcome to visit and have a tour. Imagine having a winery all to yourself on your wedding day! That’s what we offer you here at Bulong Estate – a boutique Yarra Valley winery, exclusively yours, on 120 acres shaped like an amphitheatre, with 80 acres under vine. You’ll be getting married at a winery whose grapes are sold to top shelf wineries such as Domain Chandon and Brown Brothers. And the small premium parcels of fruit we select each year to keep for our own wines, will be served to you and your lucky guests on your wedding day – you’ll be drinking wine that was grown, made and bottled here on-site. What a unique sense of place that gives your special day – as you sip on your wine, gazing with your partner at the views in every direction, and sense the terroir; the soil, the climate, the complete natural environment in which Bulong exists. Featuring a ceremony stage, large decking area and indoor function space, we have all bases covered for an intimate Yarra Valley Wedding.
