Warburton Motel is a hip mid-century Motel set in 1.6 acres of beautiful gardens, surrounded by mountain and valley views (in the heart of the Yarra Valley).
By making a weekend of your stay you de-stress your preparation and the entire weekend becomes your celebration.
The motel is small enough that you and your closest friends can book out the whole venue which makes it such an immersive experience.
You can kick back in a magnificent but super relaxed environment – walk to the Yarra River within 2 minutes, stroll to shops and restaurants, read a book in a hammock, play lawn games, have a Kombi Cinema running, or just catch up with friends over a drink by the fire pit… the list of possibilities goes on.
We have 12 accommodation options from the Spa Suite (ideal for wedding prep) to queen, twin and triple rooms and a huge 2 bedroom suite. If there are “heads on all pillows” we have capacity for 30 guests.
We strongly recommend a 2 night stay (being the night of the event plus the night before). On every occasion this has occurred the event has been spectacular and stress free with all the “day of” prep occurring at the Motel. Hairdressers, makeup artists, dressmakers, florists, photographers all arriving and plying their trades as the day unfolds. All the while you are kicking back with a Champagne.
The celebrations where people just book their event night (2pm check-in)… we always witness pressure and stress!
When wedding parties book an Air BnB house (or similar) they inevitably swing by the motel to visit guests – without exception FOMO washes over them and they wish they were part of the atmosphere at the Motel. That being said, once the preparation begins you can be away in a completely private space. It’s perfect!
