our big vision?

we found the one!
our advice?
Remember that at the end of the day all that matters is that you are marrying the person you love in front of your family and friends – that really is the best part of the day!! Everything else falls into place, even if the details aren’t 100% how you imagined it. And come up with a plan B for bad weather!! It was forecast to be cold and raining for our wedding day, but we ended up having the most beautiful sunny afternoon. We bought a lots of clear umbrellas for guests to hold in case of a shower and that meant we would have been able to still hold our ceremony outside even if the weather wasn’t great
the best bits?

side note!
We just had a really fun day and night!!! Having our friends stay the night at the wedding venue felt like one big sleep over and was such a highlight.
We also felt really blessed by the weather – we thought it was going to be raining and cold (14 degrees and rain was predicted despite getting married on the last day of spring!!) but we got the most beautiful sunshine through the forest trees as we got married and it was just incredible!
Also having Jasmine’s grandmother in attendance – she turned 91 the following day and it meant so much to have her there! The venue staff were incredible and organised a wheelchair and car to transport her between the ceremony site and the reception area. This was really touching and so important for us to have her there.
