We love to travel and adventure in nature, hiking is one of our favourite hobbies. We also enjoy spending time with friends and family over good food and board games. I have a passion for design and Jacob loves basketball. We have been together for over 7 years and we are so excited to get married!
Somewhere we can have both the ceremony and reception (we don't want our guests having to travel between places if we can help it), and we love the idea of cocktails/canapés/cheeseboard after the ceremony while we get our photos taken. We would also love somewhere that has accommodation for our nearest and dearest so that no one needs to stress.
We would like a property/farm feel without it being rustic. We still want it to be modern and chic but with beautiful views of rolling hills and/or gardens. Stylish garden party or elegant farm jamboree is the vibe we want. White barns/chapels, architecturally designed buildings, pink tuscan inspired homes with vines and tennis courts have been recurrent aspects of our favourite venues so far.
Good food, live band, beautiful farm/property scenery for photos and something quirky (e.g. pink barn, tennis court, umbrellas, festoon lights) and accommodation on site or nearby for loved ones.
A blank beautiful architecturally designed space or a space that has gorgeous gardens so that we don't have to spend as much on styling would be ideal. I'm thinking colourful wildflowers for the florals, neutral suits/dresses and a white cake with dried edible flowers so wanting the venue to compliment and enhance these things.
