About Us

We have been together for close to 5 years. We got engaged in January 2022, and are beginning to plan our wedding. Hayden is set on a big wedding, Michelle is very budget conscience. We are hoping to find a venue that can make us both feel excited and inspired. We have two dachshunds, Coco & Frankie, as well as our 84 pot plants making up our little family. We have been living in Central Queensland since 2019, but are both originally from Northern Brisbane.

What our Ideal venue looks and feels like

Greenery, outdoor, fairy lights. Feels industrial and/or rustic, but not too farmy - ideally avoiding farm animals.

Must haves & non negotiables

Low cost venue (whether it be with inclusions, or BYO)
Outdoor ceremony
Ceremony & reception at one location
Accommodation nearby for travelling guests (majority will need accommodation)
Date needs to fall on middle weekend of school holidays, due to Michelle & most of the bridal party being teachers, and needing to travel from Central Queensland.

If we fell in love with a venue, we may be willing to raise the budget
