About Us
My beautiful partner is from Malta and I’m from NZ, we currently live in Brisbane. We would like a venue anywhere within a few hours from Brisbane even north nsw is fine! Our date is completely flexible and can be anytime after September 2023, and even all of 2024 is totally fine too! We just want it to be preferably spring. We love the romantic garden vibe with lots of fairy lights and greenery!! We would love a farm/country/woods or beach wedding.. as long as it’s outdoors, that’s suits us perfectly! My partner is a chef and I’m a barista, so good food is important but we like the idea of canapés and grazing boards rather than a sit down meal.. we are not the black tie, formal kind of people! Definitely want a more casual chilled out day!
What our Ideal venue looks and feels like
Outdoors with some kind of water backdrop (pond, river, lake, ocean) with lots of trees and greenery. Definitely would love some country/farm/woodland area photos. We want a casual but still formal enough to be a wedding vibe, very into the boho chic, garden party feel with lots of plants/scenery. We love the idea of hiring a big outdoor tipi tent with lots of fairy lights… I’m obsessed with fairy lights so there will be plenty no matter where we have the wedding! We like the idea of having a grazing board and outdoor games set up for the guests while we do photos, we then would like either canapés or a food truck for afterwards. We don’t really want a sit down meal but we are open to the idea if it’s included in a package. We love the idea of having the carpet rug with a few couches set up and a little campfire would be lovely too!
Must haves & non negotiables
Must be outdoors near water and within budget, as for the rest of it, we are open to all ideas and suggestions!!
Other info you should know!
Our ideal scenario to keep things hassle free would be to have either accomodation or suites to get ready in at the venue but this isn’t a necessity just would be nice if it is included in any packages!
